Jabree Martin is a shining star in a lackluster season for the community college's men basketball team.
In only his second year of play, one sophomore men’s basketball player at Delaware County Community College is already making headlines. The Phantom scored his thousandth point during a game Tuesday, Feb. 3.

In a game against the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers, Jabree Martin’s quadruple-digit accomplishment came during a free throw shot from the line.
“Congratulations on this major milestone, Jabree,” said a post on the DCC Athletics and Campus Engagement Facebook page. “What an amazing accomplishment! We are so proud of you.”
Sadly, DCCC suffered another loss against ACCC with a final score of 99-69. The Phantoms have a disappointing 3-19 record overall, and have had a nine-game losing streak in its most recent action.
