Many community members dropped by to thank the Marple Township Police Department Monday for a law enforcement appreciation day.
Law Enforcement Appreciation Day brought the department snacks, thanks
We appreciate law enforcement each and every day. They protect and serve our communities in a variety of ways. But one day in particular is set aside each year to thank them for their duties. Monday, Jan. 12 is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day in Marple Township.
This year, Christina Johnson of Altek and Busted Saddle’s Andy and Maria Tucker showed their appreciation with a variety of snacks donated to the Marple Township Police Department. Others throughout the community also showed their thanks with notes and donations.
The department posted a big “thank you” to its Crimewatch page to “everyone else who generously donated snacks to our Department for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day,” on Monday.
