The Marple Newtown School District elementary school students and their families enjoyed a live hockey game.
Students at Marple Newtown School District’s Russell Elementary School enjoyed a night out together with an exciting hockey game with a special Philadelphia Flyers game trip!
“What an amazing night it was,” said a post from the elementary school on social media. “Last night, Russell Elementary students, families, and staff came together for an unforgettable evening cheering on the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center [Xfinity Mobile Arena].”
The organizers said that the event was both an opportunity for fun and a chance to show off the enthusiasm of the families, too.
“The stands were filled with Russell pride as everyone showed their school spirit, enjoyed the excitement of live hockey, and shared lots of smiles and memories,” said the post. “Thank you to all the families and staff who came out to support this special night—events like this truly make our school community so special!”
