Now in its 50th year, the annual Rose Tree Festival of Lights has been open and attracting onlookers since Dec. 4. And you still have until Jan. 3 to take in the sights!

Open nightly (Sunday to Thursday 5 to 9:30 p.m. and Friday, Saturday 5 to 10 p.m.), this walk-through event is decked out with "fun, free, and fabulous" holiday decor. If you are a fan of sparkling lights, you'll love this must-see destination. (Please note, the nearby playground closes at 4:30 p.m.)

Families (including well-behaved leashed dogs) are welcome to this walk-through display of holiday lights.

Friendly leashed dogs are permitted to accompany the family to see the lights. If you have concerns about the weather, guests are asked to call 610-891-4455 to check for any cancellation message ahead of arrival. To receive notifications, text the word DELCOPARKS to 888777 or select Parks & Recreation Alerts in the Delco Alert system.

The Festival of Lights is now in its 50th year!

Rose Tree Park is located at 1671 N. Providence Road in Media. There is no cost for admission. The Festival of Lights is sponsored by the Delaware County Parks and Recreation department, as well as VisitDelco and Delaware County Parks.
