Power lines in Marple Township are the cause of traffic woes Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.
According to a post on CrimeWatch from the Marple Township Police Department, North Sproul Road between Bryn Mawr Avenue and Marple Road is currently closed. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
“The road will be closed due to several downed power lines in the area,” said the MTPD post. “The road may be closed for several hours.”
No opening time has yet been announced. More information will be published as it is made available.
