State police: Shooting in Middletown Township probed as suicide

No further comment has been released.

A shooting that occurred just before noon on Jan. 15 is being investigated as a suicide, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

A spokesman for the state police said the shooting occurred around 11:45 a.m. near the Rocky Run Trail on Valley Road in Middletown TownshipDelaware County.

Because there is no threat to the public, police are not providing any further information on the incident.
